who we are

Gazzang is a provider of cloud-enabling, platform-as-a-service (PaaS) products. With a singular focus on adding new customers and making them fanatic advocates of our products, we bring tools to the open-source infrastructure market that continue the goal of making it truly "enterprise-fit". Founded by listening to the desires of system admin practitioners who want to embrace cloud computing, Gazzang received its first venture funding from Austin Ventures - one of the largest venture capital firms in the country.

Our corporate office is based in Austin, Texas, and we already have an impressive list of customers across multiple vertical markets - ranging from SaaS, healthcare, financial services and higher education to large enterprise environments.

what we do

Simply put, we enable organizations to leverage cloud computing. Our mission is to develop products that keep data safe, secure and available, enabling the migration to new cloud environments (private, public or hybrid).

why we do it

The large-scale adoption of open-source tools and platforms such as Linux, Apache, MySQL & PostgreSQL, PHP/Perl (the "LAMP Stack"), coupled with the growing use of cloud computing, is changing the cost structure of enterprise computing. However, moving to cloud computing can pose serious challenges for organizations that require their data to be safe, secure and available at all times. Gazzang leverages this new cost structure while providing enterprise-class PaaS products that meet these challenges.

what we hang our hat on

Our flagship ezNcrypt product line, known for its patented transparent data encryption technology, auto-encrypts data to secure sensitive information. Much more than simple encryption, however, ezNcrypt also uses dual authentication keys that further secure encrypted data at rest, without any changes to applications or databases.

how we are different
